We strive to be a learning community that embraces the principles of Respect, Responsibility, Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Equity;

We work in partnership with all members of our school community to create a culture of excellence in our teaching and learning.

 Mission Statement

In the spirit of the Ursuline tradition “Serviam” we will:

Follow the teachings of Jesus

Respect the individual and the environment

Strive for unity

Aim high in all we do

Religious Education

Religious Education at St Ita’s comprises of two separate, yet complementary, dimensions. The first is the learning and teaching of Religion in the classroom, and the second is the religious life of the school, which includes 4 components: Prayer & Worship, Religious Identity & Culture, Social Action & Justice, and Evangelisation & Faith Formation.

Students of all traditions are welcomed and encouraged to share their beliefs and practices with a view to broadening religious tolerance. Regular masses and liturgies are special ways in which we share our faith and celebrate it in the community. A representative from the Greek Community provides religious instruction on a weekly basis to the students of Orthodox faith.
