Religious Education

Religious Education at St Ita’s comprises of two separate, yet complementary, dimensions. The first is the learning and teaching of Religion in the classroom, and the second is the religious life of the school, which includes 4 components: Prayer & Worship, Religious Identity & Culture, Social Action & Justice, and Evangelisation & Faith Formation.

Students of all traditions are welcomed and encouraged to share their beliefs and practices with a view to broadening religious tolerance. Regular masses and liturgies are special ways in which we share our faith and celebrate it in the community.

Our school programs, activities and experiences for the classroom learning and teaching of religion and the religious life of the school are responsive to religious diversity, while being faithful to the Catholic Christian identity of the school.
