Parents and Friends Association

The St Ita's Parents & Friends' Association is an integral part of our school community and provides a formal structure for parents and others interested in the welfare of the students to plan and organise activities for the benefit of the school, and the ongoing development of students.

In particular the St Ita's Parents & Friends' Association aims:

* To work collaboratively with the principal and staff
* To support the partnership between home and school
* To liaise with the principal and the School Board in identifying  school needs, establishing priorities in respect of such needs and to raise funds to assist in the provision of prioritised needs
* To provide opportunities for school community social events to help foster a spirit of harmony and inclusivity

The P&F recognises and values the role that parents and carers play in the education of their children and aims to strengthen the partnership between family, school, parish and the wider community for the benefit of their children's overall development and learning.
